Daniel Cilia, Director of IT, Premier Capital
Daniel joined Premier Capital as Director of IT in 2025 and leads the group’s technology strategy, supporting teams across all markets to drive innovation and efficiency. He focuses on building and enhancing systems that help Premier Capital and its McDonald’s operations across six European markets run smarter and smoother.
Daniel began his career in 2014 as a trainee at PTL before moving to Hili Ventures – Premier Capital’s parent company – in 2020, where he worked on project management and systems development. His collaborative approach has played a key role in delivering IT solutions that boost efficiency and enable data-driven decision-making.
Passionate about using technology to connect people, simplify work, and make a lasting impact, Daniel brings both technical expertise and a people-first mindset to everything he does.
Jorge Lacerda, Data Management Analyst, Premier Capital
Jorge joined Premier Capital in 2023 and leads the Business Intelligence (BI) function for the group – enabling more structured, scalable approaches to data and reporting across six European markets.
He oversees data warehousing infrastructure, designs dashboards and manages several datasets from over 195 McDonald’s restaurants. By aligning BI tools with real-world requirements, he helps support more informed decision-making at every level.
Jorge is passionate about improving data access, reliability, and visibility to produce intuitive reporting tools!
Iulian Stefan, Electrician and Maintenance Support, Premier Restaurants Romania
Iulian has been part of Premier Restaurants Romania since 2009, working behind-the-scenes to keep our restaurants running at their best. He supports day-to-day operations and contributes to larger development projects with care and consistency.
In 2025, Iulian was selected for the President’s Award, a global recognition reserved for the top 1% of McDonald’s corporate, segment, and market employees. His dedication stood out through his work on seven new restaurant openings and five re-openings, where he helped coordinate third-party contractors and ensured everything was delivered to standard and on time.
He will join this year’s President’s Award recipients in Chicago this September.
Sarah Bonnici, Director of Operations, Premier Restaurants Malta
From crew member to Director of Operations, Sarah Bonnici has been growing with Premier Restaurants Malta since 2007. She began her journey with the company in 2007 as a crew member at the St Julian’s restaurant. Since then, Sarah has steadily risen through the ranks, driven by her passion for people, operational excellence, and continuous growth.
In 2025, Sarah earned the President’s Award, placing her among the top 1% of McDonald’s corporate, segment, and market staff globally. This award honours those who live our values every day – and inspire others to do the same. Sarah was recognised for her exceptional leadership, operational excellence, and lasting impact on the business.
Sarah will represent Premier Capital at the President’s Award celebration in Chicago this September 2025.
