McDonald’s® expands in Baia Mare, Romania, with new Drive-Thru

On September 12, 2025, Premier Restaurants Romania welcomed its second Drive-Thru location in Baia Mare, celebrating 110 McDonald’s® restaurants nationwide. Located in Shopping Park on Bulevardul Unirii no. 21, the new restaurant offers residents a modern and accessible space to enjoy their favourite meals.

The €1.5 million investment brings 70 new jobs to the local community, supporting both emerging talent and experienced professionals. Covering 400 square metres, the restaurant features 98 indoor seats and 120 on the terrace, catering to a variety of dining preferences, from in-store meals to takeaway via the Drive-Thru.

Designed with convenience in mind, the new restaurant showcases the latest digital technologies including, six self-order kiosks for personalised orders, digital menu boards, contactless payment systems, a dedicated McDelivery pick-up area, and McCafé for coffee and dessert lovers. Families visiting the new location can also enjoy a playground, making the restaurant a welcoming space for all ages.

The Baia Mare McDonald’s is open daily from 07:00 to midnight, while the Drive-Thru operates 24/7 to serve customers at any time of day.
