Premier Restaurants Lithuania continues its growth in our Lithuanian McDonald’s market with the opening of a new restaurant in Klaipėda. This expansion represents an investment of €1.4 million and has brought more than 55 new jobs to the local community. The new restaurant opened its doors on September 10, 2024, marking the second McDonald’s in the city and the 18th in the group’s Lithuanian market.

Vladimir Janevski, Managing Director of McDonald’s in the Baltics, commented: “We are excited to welcome customers to our second McDonald’s restaurant in Klaipėda. We have successfully adapted our network strategy to meet the needs and preferences of Lithuanian consumers. We are constantly striving to innovate, promote sustainability and create purpose-driven careers for our team. This new restaurant, with its energy-efficient technologies and its new team from the Klaipėda community, is a testament to our long-standing commitment to the Lithuanian market.”

The 380 sqm McDonald’s restaurant operates 24/7, accommodating a total of 132 guests and features a 24-hour McDrive service. It also introduces Klaipėda’s first McCafé and offers an expanded range of home delivery options. Inside, guests can enjoy freshly prepared meals with the convenience of self-service kiosks, table service, and a mobile order and pay system. The contemporary design features geometric forms and a sophisticated yet vibrant colour palette. This is further complemented by an A++ energy efficiency rating, solar panels, and an Energy Management System to optimise electricity use, aligning with McDonald’s sustainability goals.

To mark the restaurant’s opening, the McDonald’s team donated €10,000 to “Mamu Unija,” a charity supporting families and children in need and McDonald’s partner since 2016.
