New McDonald’s Restaurant Opens in Timișoara Shopping City

On July 31, 2025, Premier Restaurants Romania, the operator of McDonald’s® in Romania, opened its 109th restaurant in the country – a new McDonald’s restaurant in Timișoara Shopping City mall. This is the sixth McDonald’s® restaurant in the Timișoara area and the third new location to open in Romania in 2025.

Following a €886,000 investment, the new McDonald’s® spans 170 square meters and is situated in the shopping centre’s food court. Designed with guest experience and convenience in mind, the restaurant is equipped with self-order kiosks, allowing customers to personalise their meals and pay contactlessly. Guests can also use the Mobile Order & Pay feature through the McDonald’s® app to order ahead, access exclusive offers, and collect loyalty points with every purchase.

Open daily from 10:00 to 22:00, the restaurant offers flexible dining options for both shoppers and local residents. The launch also coincides with McDonald’s 30th anniversary in Romania, celebrating three decades of serving customers with quality food and service.

The opening of the new McDonald’s restaurant in Timișoara marks another step in Premier Restaurants Romania’s growth this year. As demand for modern quick-service formats continues to grow, the company prioritising technology, speed, and guest experience to meet changing expectations in busy urban locations.
