Premier Capital plc has announced senior leadership appointments across its business.

Strengthening executive roles and responsibilities

As part of the group’s strategy to strengthen operations and drive growth across its markets, Simona Mancinelli will relocate to Malta to focus solely on her role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Premier Capital. Mancinelli, who previously served as Managing Director of McDonald’s in Greece and COO, began her career with McDonald’s in Italy in 1996. Since Premier Capital took over the Greek business in 2011, she has played a key role in its transformation. In her position as COO, she will now oversee Operations, HR, IT, Quality Assurance, and Data Privacy across the group.

New Managing Directors appointed in Greece and the Baltics

Vladimir Janevski succeeds Mancinelli as Managing Director of McDonald’s in Greece and has relocated to Athens to lead the company’s second-largest market. Janevski joined McDonald’s in 1997 and has served as Managing Director for the Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia markets since 2014. During this time, he has successfully led the expansion and steady growth of the Baltic region.

As part of this transition, Petre Tintoi, formerly General Manager of McDonald’s in Malta, will take over from Janevski as Managing Director for the Baltic states. Tintoi joined McDonald’s Romania in 1997 and has held several senior roles in both Romania and Malta, bringing with him extensive experience in operational leadership and business development.

“These changes are designed to leverage the diverse talent within our organisation, to ensure that we remain at the forefront of our industry and continue to deliver exceptional service at great value to our customers. At Premier Capital, we take pride in being a dynamic organisation that offers employees opportunities to grow, lead, and take on new challenges across our six markets. These moves reflect our commitment to fostering talent from within and ensuring our people can develop rewarding careers in a variety of environments, while strengthening our operations,” said Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Melo Hili.

Premier Capital, which employs over 11,000 people across 195 restaurants spread across six markets, remains committed to investing in strong leadership to drive continued success and operational excellence across its markets.
